The Bellwether Foundation invites qualified organizations to submit a Preliminary Application for review. The Foundation has created a two-step application process. Once the Preliminary Application is completed and submitted online, The Bellwether Foundation will review the application and make a determination as to whether they see a potential grant opportunity. You will be contacted shortly after a decision is made concerning your Preliminary Application. The Bellwether Foundation will request more information in a detailed Grant Application or they will send you an email declining your application for the current year.

Primary consideration for grants will be given to qualified 501(c)(3) organizations within the St. Louis community in Missouri.

Areas of current funding interest include:

  • Education
  • Conservation
  • St. Louis Civic Institutions

Preliminary Grant Application submission for the 2020 grant cycle has closed. Detailed Grant Applications, available by invitation only, should be completed by July 31, 2020.

Please check back in early 2021. We expect to open the 2021 Grant Application Cycle to qualified applicants in early March.
